Robinson Racing Kennel is a family owned racing kennel in Alaska. Emily Robinson is the top mid-distance musher under 18 in the world, winning races against adult competitors. Stanley Robinson is following closely behind his sister and will be racing the 2026 Jr Iditarod.

Awards & Recognitions

  • Emily Robinson is in the record books as the first ever 4x Jr Iditarod Champion! She is also the first female to win the race more than one time in it's 48 year history. Emily started racing to run the Jr Iditarod never imaging that she would be the first 4 time winner of the race!

  • In 2024 Emily won the Knik 200 in the last mile of the race to become the first female, first rookie, and first Jr musher to win it. She was racing the best teams in the world and proved she has what it takes to race with the best as a 16 year old! In 2025 she defended her title and became the first woman to win the race twice!

  • Emily won the Willow 150 in 2023 when she was 15. She is the first female to ever win this race and was also rookie of the year.

  • Emily won the 2023 Knik 100 by 40 minute as a rookie musher. In 2024 she defended her title becoming the first woman to win the race in 2 consecutive years.

  • Emily won the Willow Jr 100 in 2023 and 2024

  • Emily won the Alpine Creek Expedition on her third try. She won by 12 minutes against some great teams. It was the race that put her on the map in the mushing world

  • At the end of an amazing season Emily was honored to receive the Alaska Sports Hall of Fame Trajan Langdon Award for Female Youth Athlete of the Year!

  • Urchin was awarded the Blue Harness Award at the end of the 2024 Jr Iditarod for being an amazing lead dog. Urchin also led the team through the entire Knik 100, Knik 200 and WJ100! She is a sassy little fireball with a big heart and tons of spirit!

  • Emily won the inaugural Yukon Quest 80.

  • Emily ran the 2025 Kuskokwim 300 with an amazing field of top mushers. It was her first 300 mile race. She was the only rookie and the only female in the race. She was very happy with her 6th place finish against such an accomplished field of mushers. Emily hopes to run the K300 in the future!
